had a series of lunches over the past few days with hong kong and mainland chinese friends of in-laws, and the conversation topic revolves around how to survive inflation in better shape ... the local folks seem to have decided that inflation will be, and real estate is a must have, and all discussions regarding the stock market seem to poopoo the idea of any persistent down turn the expat friends of ours are suspicious of the stock market, as am I, but bullish on the real estate market, as am I in view that inflation is a persistent and well organized conspiracy to rob us, and successfully as well, most of the time
