Knighty, more zone information.

lorenzo vismara is an italian swimmer who's near constant pain and injury nearly ended his italian national team career.

to make long story short, lorenzo's team got in touch with dr. ricardo pina and he pinpointed lorenzo's diet as the culprit of his constant pain and injury.

he was put on the zone diet, including 7.5 grams of epa and dha supplementation. within one year he set 7 italian national records at a single event.

dr. pina also helped the italian national basketball team blow some minds, too.

he put them on a zone diet before the 2004 olympics. going into the event, the italian team was predicted to finish last in the european qualifying championships. after six months on their modified diet, the italian team finished third in the european championships and qualified for the olympics.

they then trounced the usa's olympic team composed of nba pros in an olympic exhibition game by 17 points (the only usa exhibition loss out of 20 games at the time) and ended up taking the silver medal in the 2004 olympics.

the us team took the bronze.

not too shabby for a team predicted to dwell in the cellar of the european championships.

notice, italy's pre-olympics write up was about 2 words more than new zealand's write up and less than china's write-up.

no respect to a silver medal ain't too bad.

9. his diet is even reversing symptoms of alzheimer's in a remarkable way...

dr. sears is either incredibly lucky or he's actually on the right path to wellness. i believe the evidence consistently points toward the latter.
