My Mom wanted to throw out some old broker statements when I was helping her pack up to move this June. I tried burning them in a big clay pot, but gave that up. Finally I concocted a witch's brew of water, fertilizer, dog food, dog poop, kitchen garbage and every disgusting thing I could find, and soaked it overnight in a big garbage can which I then punctured to drain. I bagged up the mess, and I guarantee that nobody will be sorting through it for identity theft. Mom was going to put it in the recycle. She grew up in the depression and doesn't appreciate modern criminals.
