Obama has not been vetted, Edwards has. If Edwards had any scandal in his past it would have come out in 2004. Obama made a pre-emptive move to admit his cocaine use in his book, but who knows what else there might be. In any case the GOP would totally exaggerate it. But mainly they would run against his name, his race and the fact that he has said he would be glad to meet with the Iranian extremist leader. You and I know that's no big deal, but the average voter in Missouri might disagree. florida is many different groups. What we need is to win it by a landslide with Edwards by grabbing white voters up north. Then even if Bloomberg runs and steals the Jewish retirees, we still win. Obama cannot do that. Edwards can.
