Yep, such individuals are not all that uncommon. Sociopaths, pathological liars. They look you in the eye, they level with you, they talk directly to your heart and mind -- and it is all bullshit and a cynical lie. They - it seems - tend to be more common in politics and in sales. In sales, they are more likely to get discovered, and they have to move on to another location or to a different line of business.
