The GOP is the one who says Edwards couldn't win his own state. No self-respecting democrat should say such a thing. It's slander and probably totally inaccurate. Edwards didn't run for re-election. If he had run, he might very well have won. Why not? Who says he couldn't have won?

Instead, he decided to camp out in Iowa and Nevada for four years and keep running for president. That may very well pay off. Edwards is one very determined man. He is also ten years older than Obama. If you want to criticize someone for moving too fast toward the WH target Obama not Edwards. Edwards is already our VP candidate from 2004, and he and Kerry may very well have won the election. They were definitely robbed in Ohio. By how much exactly we don't know. The MSM also helped rob them. Giving the smearvets equal Tv time was scandalous. They were nothing but a hoax smear campaign, nothing more.

I spoke to Laurence O'Donnell about this and he was furious the networks gave the smearvets any time at all. To him, they were nothing but total frauds. Not even 1% truthful. Just total liars. So if not for that and the Ohio cheating Edwards would be VP right now (and a great one poised to take over in 2012) and we would already be out of Iraq. Think about that.

Kucinich support for Edwards in Iowa was relevant in 2004...And his supporters helped Edwards surge to a surprising second place finish in the 2004 Iowa caucuses. So Kucinich's support for Obama is both surprising and significant.
