I can't respect Edwards because he is running for President when his wife needs him more than we do. I don't care what she says, his priorities are screwed up.

What's baffling about JE is that this is so transparent in his case -- and people still seem to take him seriously.

His followers must not mind. This is a long-standing pattern of American demagogues. Call yourself the salt of the earth, the champion of the little people while flashing your wealth. The "little people" don't mind. They like to see "one of their own" make good.
