Hey Sr K, Every year, I try to make the cutoff on Jan 31st to make it fair. Every year, there are always those who change their minds near the end of Jan. So if you or others do that, I'll take your last guess as of Jan 31st. If your guess comes in on Feb 1st, then I'll exclude it. I use to accept guesses after Jan, but several folks complained that I was giving those people unfair advantage. Thus, the stricter rules. Anyway, it's just a silly game to amuse and generate thread conversation for us old timers. The thread average forecasts certainly haven't had much predictive value. :) So hopefully, we all just play in the spirit the game was intended...to facilitate more trash talk among friends throughout the year.
