My brother has a PhD in quantitative methods, which is mainly statistical analysis. He's been a professor for many years, and has a consulting business. The next time I see him, I'm going to ask his opinion on the best way to use IRR and it's pros and cons. If I get any additional information, I'll pass it along to you. Are you a prof at UCSB?
