I see the first day of the year has started off with a bang. ISM index down big and CNBC is now flashing a headline that one of the spot oil futures contracts just hit the $100/barrel threshold! (Hey is this peak driving season??,<G>) I usually try to buy a couple of laggards on the last day of the year as they tend to show gains early in January, but just had a 'feeling' this time, nothing more, and stayed out. Slept in this morning and just looked at the markets, sometimes sleep is a great way to not lose money <ggg>... Regards, John
