You're the one being dishonest if you think race doesn't matter in national politics. That is an extremely naive and unrealistic point of view. Just ask Harold Ford if race doesn't matter. He was ahead by 8% with a week to go and the GOP ran one dishonest racist ad against him. He ended up losing by a sizeable margin. Air America is openly and honestly discussing this race (and gender) question today. Listen in. You will hear a lot of solid reasons for supporting Edwards. He is the one who can bring us a landslide victory, mainly because rural whites love him and the GOP has no idea how to attack him. Remember, divide and conquer (as well as cheat) has been Rove's strategy from day one and it's worked. Let's not let it work again. There is only one man who can unify red and blue state voters and that is Edwards.
