"A Phyrric victory."

Do you think it would be wrong to look at these work-around able Phyrric victories as also defining in a Windows Media Player versus Real Player type of atmosphere? At least they have shown just how non-essential their patents really are. On the Player to Player battle I suggest we call it B(ee) Real Player versus Qual-edia. It seems to me that if this type of analogy is useful then BRCM must have chipset share with which to push it's own technology and that this is also a good reason for Q to keep QCT and QTL together.

"though Verizon's didn't, a reason for BRCM to license VZW"

That is a good point.

"This is why I said BRCM is a minor nuisance and why JPM ["a pesky sideshow"] also correctly saw through the smoke and the mirrors."

Oh believe me I know. Without the giants here at SI (which I consider you to be) whose shoulders carry us all we would have more steps to take in getting from here to there.

"Still, I wish the price would go down more so I can buy. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm only trying to make money here."

I have no thoughts on how you should make money on Q. It seems foolish to me for someone to learn the dynamics of an asset only to walk away from that information just because their analysis says not to stay long at some point. No one should expect anyone else to walk away from what they have learned IMO. Well, if they want to be polite that is. I wonder, do you think it possible that criticism of sellers reflects upon those who bought their shares too? This is dangerous stuff when people can be rude to not only sellers of private property but buyers too.

Thanks again all you giants I appreciate all your efforts.
