That's kind of sad Ted. I had a boss when I was a software engineer who was about forty and hadn't read any fiction since college - all he read were tech books and manuals. He said he couldn't understand the point of reading fiction, but he liked movies.

I view my library card and the great library they have in SLC as one of the pluses of living here. I've quit buying books, but I visit the library at least once a week and read 3-4 books a month. I love to read the all the periodicals there too.


Its not because I think fictional books are worthless....its more psychological. Its very hard to explain but I can't handle any kind of surprise......in a book or a movie.
