I think Linda is a good entertainer. However, unlike many on the Right, I don't consider entertainers as good role models. And I certainly don't track with their opinions, political or not.

I notice she was not only bothered that fundamentalists might like her music, but that Republicans would too.

Strange. Why would a musician care who liked their music. I'd think they s/b happy someone does.
