Thanks. I have had several Digital picture frames in my hand. I ordered a Viewsonic that had a great display and so so programming. It arrived too late for our early Christmas so I bought a Kodak which had a very good display. A coworker bought the Viewsonic for his wife. I was given a Ativa with a so so display but great programming. Interestingly my neighbor bought a Panasonic frame that was a dead ringer for the Ativa but the display looked brighter.

I have not followed GNSS lately, but the controllers to translate image sizes seemed right down their alley and maybe STM is selling millions of the chips at bargain prices.

Full disclosure: I made some money holding and flipping GNSS a few years back. I even sold at a loss once when I needed write offs.
