Richardson would only do that if Obama promised him a VP slot.
Richardson plans to get to Nevada and with Hillary falling on her own there is no reason to boost Obama into frontrunner status. He'd probably rather keep them all bunched up.

Meanwhile, Biden apparently dislikes Hillary. So who does he like? Biden's candidacy is likely to end today. He is the one who's probably out so he might want to horse trade, maybe in exchange for Secretary Of State or some such thing. Just guessing.

Another who might end today is Fred Thompson. If McCain comes in third.

Richardson Set to Send Obama Second-Choice Support

Now that I understand how the caucuses work, I expect the situation to remain fairly fluid over the next few hours.......at least for the Dems. The GOP caucuses are different and less fluid.

That Richardson story was a hoax, a fraud. It was denied by the Richardson campaign.
