That would work! Colorado has what is fondly known as our "Make my day" law. It is legal to kill someone who has illegally gained entrance into our home. It doesn't get used very often, probably because most potential thieves know about it. The situation I just mentioned about my church friends and their break in had to be someone who was watching and knew no one was home. Might be something to be said about home security systems for those times you can't be home. I've thought about that, myself.
