When I was a kid, I was taking out the trash and burning it in our burn barrel when some neighbor kids across the alley started pegging rocks at me. I went into the house and got my wrist rocket and a sack full of marbles. They retreated back to their own front yard. I lobbed some marbles in their direction. "Hey, he's shooting marbles! Yay!" Next: "Whaaaahh!" I quit lobbing marbles and go back into the house. Next thing I know, a cop shows up at the door and takes my wrist rocket. My Dad gave it back to me a couple years later. Still have it, with new surgical tubing.
