JF, > Don't dismiss it out of kind because of the politics. Look at it as a scientist and economist. Sigh ... all I have to do is look at what's available to the consumer. Solar panel rooftops are still rather expensive and can only pay for themselves after 10 years minimum (in the Arizona desert), and that's counting government subsidies and tax breaks. The technology just isn't there yet. There's a lot of faith and wishful thinking being placed in current renewable technologies just because oil is so politically incorrect these days. Tenchusatu
