Tonight, the Iowans made a decision about their country.

They decided to prefer a republican candidate who believes the current administration is arrogant and should not be in the war, that increased taxes is a good thing, that immigration and amnesty is also a good thing, that the children of illegals should have a preference over others, that the death penalty is a bad thing, that a pro-life belief over rides all else in a candidacy and that a former Baptist minister would be a good president.

They also decided to support a democrat candidate who is essentially a pacifist, who believes bombing Pakistan is a good thing, who displays little or no interest in the terrorist threat, who has not supported the troops as a senator and who is decidedly deficient in the necessary experience to move into the WH should he be elected president.

This type thinking reminds me of a couple juries on which I served.
