Agreed. Neo-conservatives tried to hijack the Republican party and did that successfully for 7 years, but their time is over. I think the Republicans will lose power in November and then will have to think about how to gain it back over the next 8 years. Perhaps, they will reincarnate as the party I remember being proud of, rather than this pale, weak, neo-con shit that we have today.

Arnold is hardly a role model for 21st century conservatism.

His only quality these days is holding in check some of the whacked-out liberals in the CA legislature. In the meantime, he is making a lot of the same mistakes his predecesor, Gray Davis made.
