"he named Jesus as his running mate". It worked before,
do not change strategy until it's broken.
This works extremely well in the farmland, remote area.
Last time around, it was spreaded around that God wanted Bush
and if anyone not voting correctly (told by some if not all
churches), they are against God and may go to hell, or suffer or ..... I'm sure Bush/Republicans/"The organization" had
nothing to do with such tactics.

Well, Romney named the Angel Moroni as his running mate, and Jesus totally kicked his butt. So don't knock it, Huckabee's strategy is totally working.

Not to be outdone, rumor has it the Thompson is going to name the Virgin Mary as HIS running mate. This would be the first woman elected VP. And the first virgin, to boot. This move makes a lot of sense and should appeal to the crossover vote.

The GOP is a master at mixing religion and politics. We can only watch in awe.

"Nah, I'm a little turned off by him since he named Jesus as his running mate."

Just as long as Hucky doesn't squinch his eyes shut tight to signal that he "prayin' real hard" like W does..
