Forget Edwards. Let't talk recession, billy boy, and the demise of the GOP as you know it. Your boys are on a self destructive binge that will make life miserable for the rest of us but at a minimum will result in significant changes to the GOP if not its complete destruction.

Let's talk reality...not the nonsense you normally drum up!

Edwards gave a powerful speech, almost as good as Obama's. Edwards has true deep-felt passion. There isn't anything phony about him, as the dishoinest GOP attackers claim.

If it becomes a two-man race with Hillary dropping out, then Edwards has a shot. Obama could stumble. He has not been truly vetted yet. But right now he looks fairly unstoppable.

Over on the GOP side, you have a similar (but less inspiring) two-man race possible if McCain whips Romney in his own backyard. Romney will be finished if he loses NH. And Guiliani is already finished. Will the GOP allow a religious conservative who's not beholden to corporate giants be their nominee? or McCain who wants public financing of elections? We'll see. The GOP is in a real pickle. Roin Paul is also doing very well and out-raising everyone else.

In the end, I am also quite confident about either Obama or Edwards beating McCain or Huckabee.
