a fair wartime tax increase would be an annual, renewable surtax (10% additional on everyones tax) on income tax. So if ones tax bill is $10,000 you get hit with a $1,000 bill. If its $1,000 you get clipped for $100 and so on. The benefit here is that you dont fuck with the rates so once the war ends, you go back to the old rates.

BJ... why not start a campaign with the WHY NOT PAY MORE slogan on your yellow ribbon ?Those that can will and those that cant wont.

Better yet why not can all of Congress and let Warren B run the country ?
