Boone Pickens helped finance the smearvets so he is a criminal traitor to democracy in the US and to every US military hero. The smearvets campaign was not just tough politics, it was a huge criminal scam and hoax perpetrated on the US electorate by a bunch of totally corrupt Texan billionaires, all pals of Rove and Delay. There wasn't a single part of it that was true, and it allowed Rove to make the race close enough in Ohio thsat he could steal it with his GOP controlled state vote counters and voter roll supressors. That is the truth.

Bush Lies About Economy, Says It's Solid rawstory.com He also lies claiming taxes are the problem. Obviously that's not true since we have a sterling economy and balanced budgets with huge surpluses under Clinton when the taxes were higher. The real problem is reckless and corrupt Bushie rightwing fiscal policy and refusing to pay as we go and keep our government solvent. Also wasting a trillion dollars in Iraq. Bushies secretly favor a "starve the beast" plan which bankrupts the government and erases our citizens' Social Security safety net, then they can claim there's no money left and we have to make "sacrifices". Thompson talks like that as well. These are big-time crooks, all of them stealing our money and giving it to the big corporations, privatizers and billionaire class.

Bob Perry, Boone Pickens and Harold Simmons aren't criminals like Norman Hsu. That doesn't make them any less despicable. You really are a hoot....you complain about the left hating the GOP and the right but then you lay all the good reasons for that hatred. You guys have a long way to go before you will regain your credibility.

Hsu operated on his own. He conned the Clintons for awhile that's all. He was totally unlike the smearvets financiers who deliberately funded the most despicable and least honest smear campagn in US history against an honest stellar war hero. Hu, like many immoral charlatans, bought his way into the Clinton campaign by raising money. No campaign in America has the resources to investigate the backgrounds of every contributor. They don't even try. Newsmax falsely claimed that the Clintons were deliberately associated with a white collar criminal. In fact, Newsmax funded a lawsuit over it and the Clintons were cleared of all wrong-doing. The case was thrown out of court for having zero merit. And Newsmax's source on the dirt was a convicted stick swindler. Newsmax also funded all the phony smear suits against Bill Clinton accusing him falsely of rape and sexual harrassment. The person who wrote up the "victims" deposition was one Anne Coulter, one of the most dishonest and hate-filled partisan extremists in US history. So careful what dirt you spread. When you listen to Newsmax or smearvets you are repeating deliberate libel.
