The obvious critical task is the person who decides what food to manufacture, if at all. Nobody else can do anything until the decision is made. Laws certainly enhance this effect, by enforcing the position of that "decider" usually by some kind of ownership.


That would be the farmer. If some crop is more profitable than others, other farmers will also manufacture that crop, and the price of that crop will fall. Go capitalism!

You're claiming that farming (or raising livestock) is a "choke point" in food production? Your claims are heading toward ridiculous.....
