I believe in extra-terrestrial life -- no basis for it, I just do. My logic for believing in aliens is as well founded as the notion that the US dollar is going to magically levitate despite the crushing weight of our combined deficits and our inability and/or unwillingness to save, or even pay our current bills. Strong currencies are not founded on massive current account deficits. Currencies inexorably weaken under these circumstances.
