Our Country cannot afford any more tax cuts. The Bush Tax cuts have already increased our national debt by $3.5 Trillion and by the end of Bush's term will increase it by $4 Trillion. Further tax cuts will only worsen the problem. It is immoral to cut taxes and pass the debt on to the next generation.

And now any talk or efforts to use the windfall profits of Big Oil to fund alternative energy efforts are attacked by Big Oil's K Street gang and what Repug voices do you hear other then "Drill in Anwar" and don't drill off the Gulf shores of Florida...those are Repug beaches! And those high gas prices since 9/11 creating those windfall profits are also funding the rapidly increasing wealth of the Middle East types who in turn are funding who knows what but certainly not our Dept of Homeland Security efforts to increase our security or our independence from oil. Yup, when the Repugs were not directing the country's attention to impeach the President for adultery or playing golf with K Street crooks at St Andrews or throwing away $12Bn unfunded a month to build schools for dead and/or badly mangled Iraqi kids, (the rest are in Jordan and Syria trying to keep from becoming dead and/or badly mangled) what have the Repugs been doing for the last 14 years while they had the levers of power? Oh yes, Cheney had secrets talks with Enron and Ken Lay so that Enron could keep screwing California and Halliburton could keep getting its share of the goodies. Yup, the Dems are responsible...
