Karen, near as I can tell, Kennewick did not get the storm. It was localized to Walla Walla and nearby. I took a lot of photos, which I'll try to get online later today.

Spent part of yesterday afternoon with the chain saw cutting up as best I could the maple that came down in front of my rental. It's unfortunate the tree came down - from the look of the base trunk, it was still a very healthy tree. I guess the root system was not enough to support it.

We had a high wind warning, with gusts up to 65 predicted.

National weather service shows as of 10:04 am on Friday, we had sustained winds of 54 mph, with gusts up to 78. That's Cat. 1 hurricane strength.
