The GOP runs partly on bigotry. The Harold Ford ads prove it. When confronted with a charismatic black candidate who was 8% ahead in the polls in conservative Tennessee, what did the RNC do? Ran a sleazy ad with a blonde actress pretending to have met Harold Ford at the Playboy mansion. In fact, Ford attended one fundraiser at Hefner's. They rent that place out all the time for various fundraisers and corporate parties. But that one racist ad, which was meant to fuel white fear of black men getting their daughters, gave the corrupt GOP candidate an instant 6% lead. This is how the GOP Southern Strategy works, when it has to. They do the same in attacking women and any woman or womens group which exhibits any power and influence. The demonization of Hillary Clinton, for instance, is ridiculous and revolting. But the sad part is, it might just work. And why is Hillary demonized? for one reason only. She is female. End of story.
