I used to mock Kenichi Ohmae with his Triad idea. (I started studying the world economy back in 1987.)

He said a companay must have had one foot in Japan, another in Europe and the 3rd in the US. It was surreal. Businessweek was talking about Generation X, happily drinking Pepsi in the mall, Swedes and Californians were setting the trends... Ans Elmar was thinking:

Hang on? Where are the shirtless in this picture?. This whole concept those guys are conferecnign about is flawed. You'd have a few guys, the first class ones, designing, sending the blue print to the God Forsaken countries and getting the products cheap cheap and gorge in the profits.

Sounds like MQ chimera QCOM!)

Are those guys seat out there and just wait for development aid for materialize or are they going to kick ass?

Today is plain to see that the asses are being kicked, new lessons are being taught and there a few redefinitions being made as I type.

Hi TJ: Thanks for the briefing!

Given the fact I seem to be the only one from the euro part of the world, I hope my presence (now and then) will be mutually beneficial.

btw, I am rather concerned by the level of interest seen here as regards food. Is it really ... this serious? Ready to help y'all - just let me know, who's closest. Unicef? Oxfam?

Regards

DJ

PS: keep me posted on Chen & Bishop / B&N saga.
