They use 'change' in Bubba's first election. Remember 'change is good'

One of the *changes* Pelosi talked about in '06 concerned the rules on ear marking, includng transparency and responsibility.

What she didn't make clear, however, was that she was talking about *change* for the worse.....

Change for the sake of change is meaningless.
I'd rather hear people offer concrete ideas.

Obama is a man of labels and slogans.
Those don't count either.

Yes............."change" is a catchy slogan. Look back and see that it worked in the past, but that was then, this is now.

I haven't seen any "change" in how we fund and run our schools.
I haven't seen any "change" in how we fund SS.
I haven't see any "change" in how we deal with health care or the poor or the weak or the rich or the middle class or anything else.

Yes.........the slogan "change" is catchy, but using it doesn't fool most of us because we are smarter and more informed and can look back at past voting records easily.......now.........and we aren't the suckers born every day they wish we (still) were.

"none of them want to define "change" - especially in terms of cost."

change will be defined when they can show costs will hit the rich or upper middle class or corp tax. increased taxes... they should help promote the campaign.. majority of voters will think they are getting a free ride. reduction in federal spending.. like supports for oil companies etc.
