I like peace, light, harmony, happiness, health, prosperity, longevity, fun and love. Megalomaniacs are ill-disposed to such things for other than themselves. It's tiresome and expensive to have to deal with such people on a regular basis. But it's wise to recognize they are all over the place and plan accordingly. When children [junior megalomaniacs in training] go off the rails, it's a good idea to pull them up smartly so they learn civilisation. If they get too old while being encouraged to be little emperors, they'll get the wrong idea about life and yet again they'll have to be dealt with at an adult stage when it can be quite costly if they have developed the art of accumulating a gang of supporters to hold the rest in thrall, rather than just being common criminals which is the foundation of their philosophy. If they have developed a large gang, the carnage can be spectacular. I'm quite indifferent to Taiwan's political choices. If it was simply part of China, that might be more convenient for me [say for visiting purposes with a single visa for the whole region]. Hainan and Hong Kong are part of China and it's no skin off my nose. I have no desire for them to be separate though I can see that a lot of the locals would prefer that. If your "shoot them in the back" philosophy was more normal and enthusiastically enacted, my future grandchildren might not have been born as their other grandfather would have been shot during escape to Hong Kong and then New Zealand. It's quite annoying to think you are in favour of my grandchildren not being born for no reason other than your megalomania and desire to shoot in the back those who fail to obey you. That back to the future mixture of tenses might not be grammatically correct, but hopefully you see what I mean. Shooting Taiwan in the back if they dare to vote to be independent and act accordingly seems worth opposing. Meanwhile, Aki-san has a daughter, Shuri, born a couple of days ago. There seems to be a baby-boom going on. Hopefully you and your racist war-monger buddies don't cause too much carnage so they can grow up enjoying mobile CDMA/OFDM phragmented photon 450MHz cyberspace rather than fragmentation grenades and free space fusion reactions and live to celebrate the arrival of the 22nd century.
