I didn't wire the panel the last time, but it's something I easily could do.

1) Flip the main breaker;

2) Install the generator receptacle and switch;

3) Ground the switch;

4) Pick the circuits you want to power;

5) Run wiring from the switch to the hot lead for each circuit you want to power.

See? Easy. Now you try it.

Of course, I have a buddy who's an electrician, so I don't have to do that kind of stuff myself (he's much quicker anyway). He helped me wire up the new converter in the Caboose.
