"Ascendant would have you believe their concessions in Junín contain much more copper than what the Japanese found after actually exploring the site for five years. Mitsubishi was only able to discover a total of the equivalent of 2.26 million tons of copper."

Sounds like a bust to me.

There is something criminal going on here, sans doot.

I would like to know who organizes all these groups. They have the same fingerprints all over Latin America, from Argentina to Peru. Far too well organized for just local yokels. And always the same rhetoric and appeal. Criminal groups, breaking environmental regs, (how can you do that without exploration?), obligated to consult with communities, overstating resources.. reminds me of the Windy Craggy thing.. the exact same style of campaign was waged by the BC NDP. So socialist blueprints are being used for the campaign. What one has to do is figure out what groups are driving this.

I suspect elements of Cuban and Venezuelan intelligence, in co-operation with the Chinese. But I would not be surprised to find out it is a well organized socialist group, and echo from the cold war of socialist-communist sympathizers.
