Or perhaps the next leg of a stagflationary rolling depression we've been in for several years? Pockets of incredible weakness while other industries/geographic areas boom but with costs of goods and services you need persistently on the upswing and under reported of CPI results in overstating what real GDP is. Thus with nominal GDP rising at a high clip too how can we be in depression even with the worst housing market ever? Confusing times for us mere mortals for sure...Mish as always has it figured out<g>
