LIAR. The Vietnam escalation was LBJ's responsibility based on a big fat lie about a Gulf Of Tonkin attack. And his entire career LKBJ was in bed with one special company, Halliburton, the biggest war profiteer, then called Brown + Root. No coincidence Bush-Cheney started a needless war based on lies and were also deeply in with that crooked war profiteer.

The Pentagon Papers confirmed the fact that the White House knew the war was unwinnable even before Nixon came in, SO Nixon knew upfront that it was unwinnable and kept it going for five more years anyway. As a result 30,000+ more Americans died and maybe an extra million people all told. That is truly evil.

Nixon is every bit as guilty as Johnson and JFK had nothing to do with the escalation. Under JFK we only had about 16,000 advisors and trainers in there, hardly a "war". And the 16,000 were much more effective than LBJ and Nixon's 550,000. Much more. In fact the 550,000 and all the corruption and money surrounding them turned the war into a big huge corruption party.

You need to study your history. You're ignorant about Vietnam. What, do you believe what lying smearvets tell you? That it was the anti war movement's fault we lost? That is totally ridiculous. That was was lost years before the anti war movement got organized. Years before. In fact that is why LBJ resigned in 1967-1968 because even by them he knew it was a lost cause.
