They are a bit player in a big market. Lots of much bigger players.

As far as I know they are #1 or #2 in the image sensor market. Their competition may be from bigger companies, but it's just from a small division of a bigger company (like Micron). OVTI's market share in image sensors is, I believe, #1 as measure by either units or revenues. Given that, are you sure they should be called a "bit player"? A better description of them is probably one of the leaders in a big and growing market. That sounds good from an investment perspective, not bad.

Wouldn't touch them.

At any price? They have $5.15 per share net cash and are profitable, so you wouldn't buy their stock at $4 if you had the chance?

Tell the truth.....

Their forward PE ex-cash at the moment is 4.3x. I doubt you can find another profitable tech stock at 8.6x. At some point you've gotta look a risk reward of owning the shares and say the reward outweighs the risk. Or not, if you don't want to!
