That is one reason. Another is that the unemployment rate numbers don't capture the full story.


Very true. However, GOPers seem to have particular difficulty grasping that argument. Since apparently it hurts their brains to think about it, they simply ignore it.

Not to mention that a software job pays much better and comes with healthcare and a 401k, than the Bush-era burger flipping job, which features neither. There are McJobs and real jobs to consider.
