re shorting that is true, but if I'm trading I'll end up being controlled by the market and I'll piss all my money away. Unless you are hedging any short position pretty much has to be a fairly short term trade. I have to shoot for longer term positions or use a short as a hedge. (I am too much of a risk taker and have to work during the day.)

I really haven't been paying too much attention for the last few years given that the coming housing train wreck made the market too unpredictable. I just don't see how much of a hit could be coming.
