"anything that's egalitarian and kind couldn't possibly be mistaken." Politics has a way of punishing people who are portrayed as mean or mean spirited. That is why people who oppose confiscation of their assets and earnings are portrayed as selfish and those who support the destruction of our society are portrayed as kind and generous. It is an interesting irony that the person who is generous and who donates freely is portrayed as selfish and the person who never donates at all is spun as the egalitarian one.
