300 farms is only three per cent of registered farms. The Europeans by trying to inflate the price of beef are shooting themselves in the feet real good!

80% our beef is consumed internally.

In terms of the impact on Brazilian cattle prices, a premium is likely to emerge for "EU approved" cattle.

However, the fact that the domestic market accounts for almost 80pc of Brazilian output and exports to other markets such as Russia and the Middle East remain strong, the overall impact on Brazilian cattle prices may not be that significant.

The only losers will be the European consumer. Just remember: Horse meat it is at a 5 year high in Belgium!

Now if you'd be a Mediterranee Club member: (Portugal. Spain, Greece, Italy) would uyou like to be a member of European Union and be part of this?
