Tenet was bullied by Cheney-Rumsfeld into playing along with them on falsifying and trumping up the case against Iraq. That was clearly shown in the CNN documentary about Cheney-Rumsfeld and their long history of war profiteering and grabbing imperial powers for the White House. Rumsfeld for instance helped arm Saddam to begin with. and Cheney dealt with Iran. Those two simply told Tenet that he if he wanted his job he would support their rush into Iraq for the oil. for Halliburton and the others. But now we know that six months before the invasion, the White House was told by the CIA that Saddam had no WMD except some old mustard gas shells. That was because we finally got a source inside Saddam's inner circle. That report turned out to be true. The White House was told, but replied that WMD didn't matter, that they were invading anyway. This from the former CIA Station Chief for the Middle East, now retired. I guess you didn't read the articles about it. They wouldn't report that in the rightwing media because they want you to to continue to be duped and lied to. The rightwing media are not your friends. You are their sucker.
