AS, > Merrill Lynch "Bush Recession Has Arrived In US"

LIAR. Merrill Lynch never called it the "Bush Recession." They simply called it a recession.

In fact, nowhere in the linked article is Bush even mentioned.

Meanwhile, Merrill Lynch's comments are incredibly self-serving. Shame on you for supporting the manipulation of the markets by rich white businessmen. Shame on you for going against the populist message that Edwards is spreading. Shame on you.

Here's another opinion on the subject from:

Dr. Robert J. Froehlich
Vice Chairman, DWS Scudder
Chairman, Investor Strategy Committee
Market Commentary
.........................
I believe the global economy should grow at above 6% of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2008. Meanwhile the US economy slows but avoids a recession and grows at close to 2% as measured by GDP.

You will reply that the Scudder vice chairman is an evil racist liar of course, who deserves to be tarred, feathered, imprisoned until he dies an agonizing death .

BTW I do no business with these people. I just get stuff like this sent to me by institutions hopeful of getting future business. It showed up in my email this morning.
