Speaking of off topic humor I almost fell off my chair this morning when I flipped on CNBC and saw some stammering bald guy going over flip charts on the housing industry, after about 30 seconds I realized he was the Secretary of the Treasury. Now I wonder whether the federal government can really let CFC fail I think they have some $50 billion of mortgage debt parked with the federal home loan bank of atlanta as collateral for loans. I somehow think that we will see a shot gun wedding before we see a bankruptcy, but of course I dont know at what price.
