Perhaps it is because this thread allows the free exchange of ideas, instead of shouting people down, at a crucial time in our history. nope. that's not it. we quickly ban those of the "other" worldview so we can discover, discuss and advance our own. i like that. it's more productive than fistfights with red herrings. being productive is important enough to take a few steps to keep the disruptive posters at bay. my guess on the great turnout of posters is that it's connected to the same thing that's causing the greater turnout of democrats at the polls this year. no?
