Why did it take 100-150 years after his death for the story of Christ to be written? That's like us just now reading about our Civil War.

Brumar, are you one of those so-called "Christians" who ignores Christ's real teachings and supports war, pollution, shafting the poor, revenge, lying, cheating, stealing and corruption? It truly amazed me that some who call themselves Christians can be so completely devoid of ethics and morality. And who are you doing it for? for the richest, most selfish, most greedy elitist corporate captains of industry. And the industry groups which are the most noxious, deadly, out of control, environmentally unsound and dangerous to our well-being. Get a clue, bro. The biggest liberal of all time was Jesus Christ. In fact his turn the other cheek, blessed the peacemakers, love thy neighbor attitude would get him pegged by the GOP as "weak", "cowardly" and "a traitor who doesn't support the troops". And his "the rich can't get into heaven unless they give everything to the poor" message would get him branded as a "communist" by the rightwing in this country. In fact, I'm sure you bastards would want him crucified. Look what you did to Martin Luther King and the Kennedys after all. And they were only partly Christ-like. Also, Christ never-ever said sex was a bad thing. Never.
