Why is it OK for us in the west to drive SUV's, commute 50 miles on each way to work and otherwise enjoy our cars while the Indians and Chinese can not? If the greens really have a problem with it, they can walk. Will they give it all up for their religion? Its easy to be green when you are rich and don't have to walk everywhere. I consider myself environmentally aware and participate in many Audubon and American birding activities in North and Central America but realise as we get richer, the greener we get. CC
