Ron Paul is being labeled a Neo-Confederate in The New Republic. Most of this stems from a tv interview where Paul quoted a Neo Confederate's hate book on Abraham Lincoln. Also, Paul has spoken at a Neo Confederate Convention.

I listened to the author on tv and was unconvinced. I have spoken at a Junior League function, but I am neither a member nor a wannabe member of The Junior League. I don't consider the speech as evidence of anything. And you can quote a writer on one subject without believing everything he believes.

The author also said that Paul used racial codewords in his campaign speeches. I don't necessarily buy into that one, either, any more than I believe that Ross Perot saying "you people" was a racist statement. Though I deciphered codes in the Army, I have never been able to decipher what some call codewords for racism, anti-feminism or anything else.

I do believe that many of Paul's ideas would disadvantage minorities in America, but I don't think that is necessarily why he recommends them. I may be blinded by the fact that I kind of like the guy.

here, an Ontario report partially on sleep testing, if you skip down to the economic analysis section, and then locate your calculator, it might be interesting to calculate an average cost per sleep study.
