Bush's Iraq policy is indefensible. He should have done the honorable thing like LBJ did in 1968 and stepped down voluntarily. Very similar situations. Both lied us into a costly and humiliating war which stuck our military in the middle of a third world civil war in a corrupt land we didn't understand. In both, the US won many battles, but in the end that was unimportant because there was never a military solution to the perceived problem to begin with.

Ron Paul is right. What would we all do if China invaded us and told us our government needs to be like theirs? What if they occupied us and took our resources and appointed puppet leaders?> What would we do?

We would fight them eternally until they were either all dead or they left. I would think this is common sense. It's a lesson that's been taught over and over since The Roman Empire and Alexander The Great. And does anyone really believe our goal for invading was ethical and that all we wanted to do was liberate the Iraqi people? Ha! The Bushies don't give a damn about the Iraqi people, and everyone knows that.
